Huawei’s Gankun smart car solution was released, and ten new products such as ADS 3.0 were unveiled.

On April 24 th, at the 2024 Huawei Smart Car Solution Conference, Huawei released a new brand Huawei Gankun (pronounced qián kūn) and launched Huawei Gankun Smart Car Solution.

According to the official, Huawei’s "Gankun" has led the industry by breaking through the sky and mastering the core technology by sticking to the roots.

Huawei believes that 2024 will be the first year to start the commercial scale of smart driving. It is estimated that by the end of 2024, there will be 500,000 cars using Huawei smart driving.

Huawei’s Gankun smart car solution covers chips, hardware, software and cloud, and has released ten new products, including Gankun intelligent driving, Gankun Che Yun, Gankun vehicle control and cockpit.

Among them, Gankun Zhijia ADS 3.0 adopts a new architecture of 3.0 and is equipped with an omni-directional anti-collision system CAS 3.0；; Support parking space to parking space, parking and driving the whole scene for commercial use.

Huawei launched the first high-precision 4D millimeter-wave radar in Gankun, China, and its perception was upgraded, and its detection capability was improved in an all-round way. The detection distance is increased by 35%, the detection accuracy is increased by 4 times and the time delay is reduced by 65%.

According to reports, ADS 3.0 adopts a new architecture: from BEV to GOD, there is a way to open; End-to-end architecture, experience more people; Cloud training, rapid iteration, the more open, the better. The omni-directional anti-collision system CAS 3.0, with forward active safety enhanced and lateral active safety advanced, can realize cross-lane avoidance, as well as identify and avoid crossing and oblique crossing objects. The parking capacity runs through the whole scene, and the parking space arrives at the parking space with a "key", leading the industry to drive the car to commercial use.

Huawei also introduced the XHUD 2.0 augmented reality head-up display system of Gankun, and a self-developed vehicle-level imaging module, which has the highest brightness in the industry of 15000nit and the highest contrast in the industry of 2500:1. Equipped with AR composition engine, it not only refers to accuracy, but also adds anti-shake and stability enhancement functions, and can also be linked with intelligent driving and other functions.

Huawei also released the Gankun XPIXEL Megapixel intelligent car light module, which can accurately cover the high beam without disturbing people, and support the intelligent interaction of light expression.

At the same time, a new generation of HarmonyOS cockpit HarmonySpace appeared, including smart car, smart sound and smart display. Equipped with Qianwu engine, it can integrate vehicle sensors, HarmonyOS’s visual perception ability and Xiaoyi’s voice ability, support Qianwu’s "knowing" people and Qianwu’s "coaxing" babies, and copy voiceprints, Qianwu’s "understanding" cars and Qianwu’s "helping" you within 15 seconds.

Huawei launched the extraordinary series of UItimate for Gankun Audio, which is equipped with 43 speakers and has a 3000w power amplifier. The official said that it has original intelligent sound quality, original intelligent sound field and leading intelligent atmosphere, and supports AI space sound, turbo subwoofer, all-round active noise reduction and independent sound zones in front and rear rows.

The XSCENE light field screen of Gankun was also released simultaneously, and the official called it "a private cinema loaded into the car", which provided the characteristics of large format, immersion, motion sickness prevention and visual fatigue relief.

Gankun XPIXEL supports DIY projection, outdoor KTV, giant screen viewing and other more personalized application scenarios, which are often used frequently.

Huawei released Digital Key Cloud Service 3.0: the first one to support Star Flash technology, providing the ultimate non-inductive unlocking experience.

At the same time, Huawei once again stressed that it does not build cars, and its goal is to help car companies build good cars.
