The key information shows that Microsoft Win 7/8.1 users are expected to upgrade to Win11 for free.

On June 16 th, a developer on the domestic platform leaked Microsoft’s brand-new English preview of Windows 11 last night. This can confirm that Windows 11 is indeed the official name, although nothing has changed much. According to Microsoft’s release rules, it will be promoted to users around the world later this year.

According to foreign media XDA, users of Win8 need to upgrade to Win8.1 to support it. This means that Win11 may, like Win10, support free upgrades for a period of time after its launch, including users who use Win7 and Win8.1.

IT House understands that Microsoft will release "Next Generation Windows" on June 24th, when the upgrade steps and conditions of Win11 will be announced. We will wait and see.
