  She said that on the 30 th, due to the influence of cold air, the temperature in the east was 4 ~ 8 C from west to east and from north to south, and in some areas it was 10 C; There are 4 ~ 6 northerly winds in the Yangtze River and most of its northern areas; There is light snow in some parts of the northeast, and light rain in the eastern part of the southwest and most of the south of the Yangtze River.   For the weather forecast for the next ten days, Li Mingmei said that the eastern part is generally high and there is a staged cold air process. It is estimated that in the next 10 days, the temperature in the eastern part of the country will be close to normal, and the temperature in northern Xinjiang, eastern northwest, eastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and southwest will be 1 ~ 2℃ lower than normal.

  Li Mingmei said that on the 29th to 30th, the cold air continued to move eastward and southward, affecting China. Most of the central and eastern regions had a temperature drop of 4-8 C, and the eastern part of the northwest region and the northern part of North China could reach 10 C, accompanied by northerly winds of 4-6, and the gust could reach 7.   Li Mingmei said that precipitation in China showed an increasing trend compared with the previous period; The accumulated precipitation in the eastern and northern parts of Northeast China, the eastern part of Northwest China, Huanghuai, Jianghuai and other places is 3 ~ 10mm, and that in the eastern part of Southwest China, the central and western parts of South China and the north-central part of Jiangnan is 10 ~ 20mm, including 25 ~ 40mm in Yunnan and Southwest Guangxi. Compared with the normal period, the accumulated precipitation in most of the above areas is 40-80% more than the normal period, and the local area is more than twice as much.

  For the main precipitation process, Li Mingmei said that around January 3, there will be a small to moderate rain process in the eastern part of southwest China, Huanghuai, Jianghuai, Jiangnan and western South China, with small to medium snow in Huanghuai, the eastern part of northwest China and parts of northeast China, heavy snow in the central part of Huanghuai, sleet in Jianghuai and Jianghan.

  Regarding the rain and snow weather process during the New Year’s Day, Fang Yi, chief meteorological service officer of the Central Meteorological Observatory, later added in response to a reporter’s question that during the New Year’s Day, according to the forecast of the Central Meteorological Observatory, there will be a snowfall weather process in the northeast on the 30 th with the cold air going south, including Jilin and the eastern part of Heilongjiang, with small to medium snow and some heavy snow.

  There will be light rain and moderate rain in Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou and western Hunan. On the 31 ST, in the northeast, there is still some light snow or small to medium snow.   Li Mingmei said that there was foggy weather in Huanghuai and other places in North China on the 29th.
