Spy photos and parameter exposure of GM Buick New Excelle real car

Recently, spy photos and parameters confirmed this news, and it was further learned that the product models of the new Excelle include SGM7168MTA, SGM7183MTA, SGM7168ATA and SGM7183ATA, which are manual and automatic transmission models of 1.6L and 1.8L models respectively. The emissions of the four models of the new Excelle all meet the national IV emission standard.

　　The release of the customized photos of the new Excelle finally allows us to see the true content of the replacement model of Shanghai GM’s best-selling compact car Excelle. From the appearance, the new Excelle middle net adopts a similar straight waterfall design, indicating that the family style of Shanghai GM’s new generation models is gradually taking shape. The new Excelle headlights adopt a diamond shape, which is more sharp than the old models. The headlight lines extend to the bumper, forming a popular U-shaped shape.

Looking at the tail shape of the "New Excelle", the change of taillights is very significant. The taillight design of the new Excelle’s horizontal layout is completely different from that of the current vertical layout. Undoubtedly, the taillights of the new Excelle are more graded. But on the whole, the tail design lines of the new Excelle are more complicated. Viewed from the side, there is little difference between the lines of the new Excelle and the current Excelle, which indicates that the relevant parameters of the new Excelle will not change much.

The new Excelle SGM7168 and SGM7183 are equipped with F16D3 engine produced by Shanghai GM Dongyue Powertrain Co., Ltd. and T18SED engine produced by Australian company respectively. The former has a maximum displacement of 1598 ml and a maximum displacement of 78 kW. The latter has a maximum displacement of 1799 ml and a maximum power of 88 kW. This power configuration is also the same as the current Excelle. Comparing the new Excelle with the current Excelle, many of our parameters are completely consistent, which seems to confirm from the side that this new Excelle is not a completely replaced model, but a new Excelle with a mid-term change.
