When answering a reporter’s question, Vice Minister of Commerce Qian Keming said that the holiday market supply is ready and will provide a strong guarantee for the people to celebrate the Spring Festival. Commercial departments at all levels actively take measures to increase market supply, optimize holiday services, plan and organize activities to promote consumption during holidays, and make full preparations. Mainly in the following four aspects:

　　There are plenty of holiday goods.In order to effectively increase the supply of meat in the market, the Ministry of Commerce, together with relevant departments, has formulated a plan for the delivery of two sections of reserve meat, and instructed local authorities to strengthen the delivery of reserve meat. Since mid-December last year, 177,000 tons of frozen pork have been put into the central reserve, 2,000 tons of frozen beef and mutton have been put into Qinghai, Ningxia, Tibet, Xinjiang, Gansu and other ethnic minority areas, and more than 120,000 tons of pork have been put into the local reserve. Strengthen the organization of goods supply and the connection between production and marketing, and improve the ability of ensuring supply in the holiday market. Beijing organized 46 large-scale agricultural products wholesale markets and supermarket chains to carry out joint action to ensure the supply of vegetables during the holiday, and the supply of vegetables increased by about 10% during the holiday. Hebei, Jiangxi, Guizhou, Qingdao and other regions organize large-scale circulation enterprises to increase the variety and quantity of holiday stocking through the forms of "factory-yard linkage", "agricultural supermarket docking" and "wholesale-retail docking". Commercial and trade circulation enterprises actively broaden the sources of goods and increase the stocking quantity. The stocking quantity of daily necessities is more than 20% higher than usual. Meat and vegetables can meet the consumption of 5 to 7 days, and grain and oil can meet the consumption of about 20 days.

　　The service supply is abundant.Encourage and guide catering enterprises to operate normally during the Spring Festival. Guangzhou held the activity of "Spring Festival food is not closed", and 2,300 stores of 192 chain catering enterprises participated in the activity; Hotels in Hangzhou booked more than 20,000 tables for New Year’s Eve dinner, an increase of 17.7%. A number of measures have been introduced in various places to ensure the supply of holiday services. Beijing has launched a campaign to ensure the supply of domestic services, and organized domestic workers to stay in service posts by means of "returning home at the wrong peak". It is estimated that 50,000 domestic workers will stay in Beijing during the Spring Festival. Shanghai has identified 117 domestic enterprises as the backbone enterprises for domestic security during the Spring Festival, and guided more domestic workers to stay in Shanghai.

　　The price is generally stable.Before the holiday, the market of daily necessities was generally stable, and the prices of pork and vegetables rose slightly due to factors such as increased consumer demand and increased rain and snow. According to monitoring, the average wholesale prices of pork, vegetables and fruits in 100 large wholesale markets nationwide last week increased by 2.2%, 2.4% and 2.6% respectively compared with the previous week, and the increase range was within the normal range. The prices of grain, edible oil, beef and mutton were basically the same as those of the previous week, while the prices of chicken and eggs dropped by 1.5% and 3.6% respectively.
