Rong Baozhai’s non-legacy new product recommendation ｜ Shi Guoliang’s limited edition hand-signed woodblock watermark ＂Anaerhan＂ was officially released in Rong Baozhai 350th Anniversary Edition.

　　Make friends with literature and become attached to calligraphy. Rong Baozhai is known as the "home of painters and calligraphers", and has established a profound friendship with the vast number of painters and calligraphers. The famous contemporary painter Mr. Shi Guoliang has a long history with Rong Baozhai. Since 2005, Rong Baozhai has printed Mr. Shi Guoliang’s paintings and calligraphy works through the woodblock watermarking technology, and the woodblock watermarking works of Farmhouse, Chunjiang Water Heating and Bafu Arch have been widely recognized and loved by all walks of life.

　　On the occasion of Rong Baozhai’s 350th birthday, we invited Mr. Shi Guoliang to create "Anaerhan" and take it as an important topic of annual woodblock watermarking, so as to reproduce the original appearance and charm through the traditional technique of woodblock watermarking, in order to cater for the vast number of art lovers. On June 13th, Mr. Shi Guoliang walked into the special live broadcast room of "A Thousand Years of Fine Arts and a Hundred Years of Inheritance" in Rong Baozhai, publicized and promoted two national-level non-legacy techniques of Rong Baozhai woodcut watermarking and mounting and restoration, and gave on-site guidance on the production of his woodcut watermark work Anaerhan. At present, the 350th anniversary edition (handwritten) of the woodblock watermark Anaerhan in Rong Baozhai has been officially published. The works are handwritten and stamped by Mr. Shi Guoliang, with a limited edition of 50 copies, each with a unique number and a collection certificate.

　　Shi Guoliang Born in 1956, graduated from the graduate class of Chinese painting department of Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1980. National first-class artist, member of China Artists Association, visiting professor of Central Academy of Fine Arts, visiting professor of Fine Arts Department of Capital Normal University, visiting professor of Fine Arts Department of Central University for Nationalities, and art consultant of CCTV. His work "Engraving Classics" won the 23rd Monte Carlo International Modern Art Grand Prix and the UNESCO Organizing Committee Award, and was awarded an honorary award by the Ministry of Culture of People’s Republic of China (PRC). His painting style is realistic and reflects modern life. He is an important representative of realistic figure painting in China with solid foundation and heavy brushwork.

　　Rong Baozhai Woodblock Watermark

　　Rong Baozhai woodblock watermark is developed on the basis of inheriting the traditional woodblock printing technology in China. It is based on the thickness, straightness, dryness, rigidity and softness of the original handwriting, and then carved into several sections, and then printed in turn from shallow to deep. Rong Baozhai Woodblock Watermark strives to restore and reflect the original appearance and charm, and its raw materials such as paper, ink and color are the same as the original, which can be confused, and it is known as the artistic treasure of "the first-class original". In 2006, Rong Baozhai Woodblock Watermarking Technology was listed in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list by the State Council.
